It’s been 5 years since I had my own blog. I kept one while living in China and traveling through Southeast Asia. This next phase for me isn’t quite as spectacular of an adventure, but it’s an adventure nonetheless.

I’ve found that the best way for me to reflect on my experiences with change, and to not feel so alone in the process, is by writing regularly and hoping that you’ll read some of it and share your own thoughts. I once got a book from a former boyfriend, “Comfortable With Uncertainty” by Pema Chödrön, he knowing full well that I’m not comfortable with it at all. So I am preparing myself by launching this blog.

In addition to sharing some of my personal experiences, I plan to add a little texture to impressions of life in Orange County compared to Oakland, hoping we both (you and me) can learn a little more about these two places I call home.
